BOOK BUFFET!
I was happy to be informed of "Scholastic Book Buffet “Sales last June 2010. I thought it was a superb idea! To have book sale, featuring a recycled bag as the main attraction. You Get a Book Buffet Bag and stuff it with as many books as you can. You need to purchased the bag at RM49.90 and try to grab and fit as many books in it. Then all books that managed to fit in the bag shall be yours at that price! Ohhhh i love the idea so much...and was really thrilled to get to know that MPH did attempt with the idea for their books!
Last Oct 2010,we went to MPH @ The Curve and I was eager to grab the books for my daughter;too bad, the book buffet options are only minimum and I bet you the price is equally worth of the recycled bag you bought instead of gettimg bargained books...in a nut shell...not worth it.

But whatever it is, a big hand of applause for MPH for attempting to venture into this idea. If someone from the MPH management is reading this, we hope you can improvised and offer better deals in future for us, the books lovers!!

It's November!!
It's November already, i have a few news on Books to updates and are thinking on launching an online book exchange - "barter" -"letgo" via facebook. Hmphhh but i must make sure i can online as frequent as possible. Sometimes i feel. the internet world is not as interesting as Books. Maybe books lover would understand with what i meant here. LOL!
So i've purchased dozen of books from July till now, today i bought another new book. As far as i can recalled, i shouldn't buy any new books. We ought find alternatives! What can i do, i am sooooooooo addicted to books and that is the main reason why this blog was created in the first place!!!! Yehhaaaaa!
Oh guessed what? The current book that i've been reading is "Expecting to Expect" -> trying to figure out what is the best diet, best life routine and others to get pregnant for the 2nd time!!
Who would ever thought that when ur first pregnancy was sooooo unexpected and easyyy..(was sooo not ready and had that roller coaster emo breakdown!) and when you are ready for the 2nd one, it's really challenging?? :)

Shopaholic Mini Edition Review
I am reaching page 327, almost finish the book. I betcha by tomorrow LRT transit i'll manage to finish this book within 2 days. Then i cn moved on to my Julia Quinn novel.
Minnie, Becky and Brandon's 2 years old daughter is adorable, spoiled with those branded clothing by Becky's designer best friend @ Danny@ and gucci shoes. She is still obssesed with shopping and this time even her toddler love it too! It's hilarious as Minnie had accidently shop online for 16 set of green coats under her mama's name. Lesson to be learnt here, never ever leave your ebay bidding on, while you are not in the same room as your child!
It's a bit annoying to me to some certain level of Minnie behaviour though! Like the word "It's mine, mine" to everything she saw attaractive. She demanded for starbucks muffin! whoaa...
I'm currently reading the part where she was fired by her manager at The Look as Personalized Shopper...
I'll wrap it out once i finish the book tomorrow eh?!
XoXo

Julia Quinn – Bridgerton’s Series
Julia Quinn – Bridgerton’s Series (A-H)
When my Banker friend suggested me to read Julia Quinn, I was tempted to have a go. She lends me one of her books but I was worried too much in taking care of the book instead of reading it! Sorry dear!
But I have always loved the stories written to portray life in 18th centuries. This must be one of those Suffragettes and Suffragist era that I learnt from my British History lessons during my Grade 10 & 11. Oh yeah of course during my English classes with emm..i can’t remember her name but she was a beautiful blond lady, soft spoken and really nice. We watched Jane Austin, Shakespeare and recite the famous Daffodils poems. Gosh, memory flashes back!
I can never finish my Jane Austen books unless you were forced to read it for GCSE English exams! But I loved to watch all the movies especially “Becoming Jane” which was shown on ASTRO Hallmark Channels 2 years ago. Do have a view on You Tube :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag53cnP2Ycc&NR=1
Main reason for you to love this movie is because the Main actor and actress is James Mcavoy and Anne Hathaway!!
Back to Julia Quinn Novels, well as I have described earlier the settings were all during the 18th and 17th centuries. Where the English (lagi la suka!) were still a conservative, with the Duke, Marquis and Viscounts were the main attractions for the ladies. As they reached the age of 18th, they'll go to London to join in the season ball, where they will dance and dance until they meet their future husbands.
The Bridgerton series start off with a mother with 8 children and she named them according to alphabets orders. A to H. Anthony the Duke, Benedict the Viscount, Collin, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory and Hythinch. (H ni ke check nama dia balik)
Somehow I found out that I am totally addicted to her books! But..i must make sure I only purchase the covers with cartoon drawings only!
Recommendation : why dont you try buy the first book first "The Duke and I"

She's Back with a New Book : Mini Shopaholic
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author is back, this time Sophie Kinsella book title is “Mini Shopaholic” Yeay!
Yesterday while we’re doing our weekly book shopping at Kinokuniya, I had actually beamed when I saw this soft blue cover with yellow writings!
I grabbed the book without any hesitation and put it in the shopping basket with the rest of Julia Quinn novels, Toys Strory 2 Cd Audio Book, Princess Disney Magazines and PARENTS Magz. No doubt should be given to this author as her writings have been proven, fabulous, witty and hilarious!
Considering I am also a shopaholic plus with a girl toddler, I know I can relate ourselves with this book very much! Dahla masa berpantang Sarah in March 2007, my biras Pu3 post this book (Shopaholic & Baby) from the UK. The timing was really good, now my dearest Sarah is 3 years old, the toddler Minnie is 2 years old.
Me & little Sarah, strolling over the malls, trying shoes and handbags together! She is only 3 years old! But my admiration towards her comments on shopping. Few weeks ago we were shopping at the IKEA and saw this one Chinese girl was wearing a black studded ballerina shoes. “ Mama, mama…she tugged at my baju…look kasut dia cantik kan mama?” I turned and look…hahah yelah..memang cantik!! “Nanti kita cari macam tu ya?” “ ok mama eh…nanti kita beli eh?” hahah…kalau papa baca ni mau bertambah botak bapak ya?
Then semalam, we went and hunt for Uncle Hafiz and Uncle Hijaz’s birthday present at M&S..dia pon sibuk nak pilih..”Papa amik yang ni cantik…macam Tok Wan nya” hahahah…it was a striking colorful polka dot silk tie with navy blue background. Hmph somehow I doubt my dad did owned one! She will then walk to the M&S area, and picked up M&S Animal shape biscuits that would cost us RM10. Mama & Tok Mi suka M&S, papa pon memang dah suka M&S, I guessed terbawak-bawak old habits masa duduk UK more than 12 years ago…ni anak pulak suka. Aiyo..but she will always try her luck with M&S cartoon panties. Aritu dah beli Dora the Explorer (5 pieces for RM79), semalam pegang princess Disney..berapa banyak panties da…tak boleh jadi ni. Must train her to appreciate semua stuff barangan yang tak semestinya mahal, tapi tetap kekal cantik di pandangan mata kan?! Hehe…
Eh terpesong jauh daripada main point. Just to share my excitement on this new book! Now available at all local bookstore nationwide! RM69.90 (I got it for 20% less) There were two covers (I bet from 2 different publisher, satu tu gambar macam sketching or Becky and Minnie tgh tahan Taxi)
Can’t wait to start reading!
But first I must finish my current book “Confetti Confidential” by Holly McQueen. Tertarik nak beli buku ni dulu bcoz it was claimed “As good as Sophie Kinsella or your money back!” Honestly I wished I can get my money back!
Grab it if you are a Shopaholic Series Lover!
