WELCOME BOOK LOVERS!!

Another version of my life addiction blog series!! ..and this time it's the "Addiction 2 BookS" where all book lovers, book collectors and book critics are welcomed to share your views and passion in this blog.

I loved to read and because I used to prefer understanding the malay translation of every english word, i had to stop at almost every line of my first Enid Blyton* to refer to the malay-english dictionary for the correct translation..from then on..it was addictive!! I will try to buy a book whenever we went out the the malls (budget permitting!).

My adoration toward book stores leads me to be very descriptive of the environment and ambience of book stores; the smell of the books when we enter, greeting us with the lovely atmosphere..just irresistable! Just like how i work my imagination when i read my books and how the author tells me the stories..flowy and adventurous..the story in the books would carry me away just like in a movie. Trust me..sometimes books are far better than the movies!!

I don't know how much i had spent in the past..but i do know one thing - that I would never want to let go of my beloved books!

I have more than 500 Books that range from children-books, early teen-books amongst others, and of course i had love the super natural books since i was 15! Just wait and see my book features available for Rental Service!

So here i am, offering a new idea (i think?):

  • book lovers would be able to enjoy and rent, sell or even barter your books on my blog.

Still not clear with the Rental Service Concept?

Here is an example scenario for your further understanding;

Mr.A wished to rent 2 books at the cost of (rental fee rm3 and rm5 (5+3 -RM8))

This is Mr.A first time renting the books, so Mr.A has to pay RM100 for the deposit plus RM 8 = RM108.

Mr A will bank in RM108 + RM5 (postage fee in Pen's M'sia), that will make a total of RM 113.

The next time Mr.A wishes to rent, he will only need to pay the book rental fee only. Mr.A wanted to rent 2 books:-

(Rm5 + RM 6 )RM11 + Rm5 (postage fee) = RM16 nett

The deposit will only be return when A decided to stop using the rental services from us.

Thank YOU!...check out our 1st batch of books that are ready for rental!!BooKs!

*From wikipedia

Enid Mary Blyton (11 August 189728 November 1968) was a British children's writer known as both Enid Blyton and Mary Pollock. She was one of the most successful children's storytellers of the twentieth century. She is noted for numerous series of books based on recurring characters and designed for different age groups. Her books have enjoyed popular success in many parts of the world, and have sold over 600 million copies. Blyton is the fifth most translated author worldwide: over 3544 translations of her books were available in 2007 according to UNESCO's Index Translationum;[1] she overtook Lenin to get the fifth place and is behind Shakespeare. One of her most widely known characters is Noddy, intended for early years readers. However, her main forte is the young readers' novels, where children ride out their own adventures with minimal adult help. In this genre, particularly popular series include the Famous Five (consisting of 21 novels, 1942–1963, based on four children and their dog), the Five Find-Outers and Dog, (15 novels, 1943–1961, where five children regularly outwit the local police) as well as the Secret Seven (15 novels, 1949–1963, a society of seven children who solve various mysteries). Her work involves children's adventure stories, and fantasy, sometimes involving magic. Her books were and still are enormously popular in Britain, Malta, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia; as translations in the former Yugoslavia, Japan; as adaptations in Arabic; and across most of the globe. Her work has been translated into nearly 90 languages.
